Terms of Service
Welcome to EduCompli Intelligence (“EduCompli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the EduCompli Intelligence website, applications, and cloud-based services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Acceptance
You may use the Services only if you:
- Are at least 18 years old, and
- Are authorized to act on behalf of a school district, private or independent school, charter organization, education agency, or other educational entity.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of Services
EduCompli Intelligence provides a cloud-based platform designed to help K-12 educational organizations manage:
- Educator credentialing and licensure
- Certification and compliance tracking
- Documentation and audit readiness
- Workforce analytics and reporting
- Job Postings and submissions
- Praxis Exam Registrations and tracking
- Professional Development Event Registrations and tracking
The Services are offered on a subscription basis and may change or improve over time.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account’s credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information.
- You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.
Unauthorized use must be reported immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful or non-educational purposes;
- Interfere with system security or integrity;
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Services;
- Upload malicious code or misuse data.
EduCompli may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Data Privacy & Education Records
5.1 Ownership
EduCompli retains ownership of all educator and student data submitted to the Services.
5.2 FERPA & Student Privacy
EduCompli acts as a “school official” under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and complies with applicable federal and state student data privacy laws.
5.3 Security
We employ commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. No system is completely secure, and use of the Services is at your own risk.
6. Subscriptions & Fees
- Fees, billing terms, and service levels are governed by a separate written agreement (e.g., Software License Agreement).
- Public website access does not constitute a binding subscription without a signed agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by EduCompli Intelligence or its licensors.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription term.
8. Feedback
Any suggestions or feedback you submit may be used by EduCompli without obligation or compensation.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- EDUCOMPLI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
- TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination does not affect obligations under a separate written agreement.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
